[Ah, June, the beginning of Summer. The warmer weather signified the start of the season, but to Karis, there would be a second indication that the hottest of seasons was just rolling around the corner. It was that time again, where someone of her species would begin molting, and around the time new feathers will be popping in no less!
On occasion, one of the loose feathers located on her legs would find itself free and on the ground. Funny enough, they're roughly the same size as the feathers of the Luceti wings.
Throughout the day, Karis will be leaving what looks to be an attempted trail of feathers, and could be find just about anywhere throughout the village or in the battle dome. She's currently oblivious to the start of her molting, despite how itchy her legs are now, and since she's scratching them almost constantly, a few extra feathers might get dislodged in the process.]

[It wasn't until Karis was back home in her apartment that she would address her situation, one she hoped didn't cause too many people to freak out.]
So um... [By the archmages, this was rather nerve wracking.] I'll try to be quick about this. My name's Karis, I've been here since February.
A-anyway, for those who don't know me, or all that well, I'm an Alnorian, and every year we have a cycle that begins in the early summer months. It's nothing special, but, uh... [She casts her eyes to the side. Wow this is normally something that's easy to talk about...] My race has feathers, on our legs, and it's around this time when we start molting, and will continue to do so for about two to three weeks. [She holds up one of her leg feathers.] These are mine for those who haven't seen them. [She looks back at the camera, smiling sheepishly.] Also, I want to apologize if I alarmed anyone who found some of my old feathers and may of thought that someone plucked a few from their wings! That's...all I wanted to say. [What a note to end on.]
