Sooo... what if... your arcane runes broke down, and your car broke down, and you couldn't make it levitate? Wouldn't it be hard to move without wheels?
[She actually didn't think about this...] I guess so! Though the engineers that designed them might have a way around this? I'm actually not sure how they would do it though. Since it's not really a problem I've ever encountered, or really thought about.
Maybe if one of the shops gets any, I may just have to nab one then! [Though she can't help but enjoy walking sometimes.] It would be funny if I could apply a haste spell to one too, or myself, and possibly go even faster.
Mainly elemental spells, like fire, ice, lightning, and shadow, there's more, but I haven't learned how to use them, yet. [One day she will though.] Oh, and I can also turn myself invisible, track specific people or a general group of them, make anyone run double the speed they could before, and make slow down your descent when falling! [Simple stuff, really.]
One's mind is good enough to use magic, well, one's mind and hands. I also can use every day objects to channel my spells through, but I can only use them once! They crumble to pieces right when the energy passes through them, unless they're specifically made to have arcane energy go through them.
So, for you... if you channel magic through something, that makes it more focused, and that's what makes it more powerful than just doing the spell? [ Has he got this slinging thing right? ]
That's exactly how it works for me! [It's not slinging, but at least he's getting channel casting down.] Though channeling doesn't automatically mean that the spell is more focused for other mages, many can be at their best level without the channel, but this all depends on the person.
I do! And a rather large stash of marbles as well to be used as a substitute, as well as to cast some spells that I normally can't channel through my gun.
At first, it's really hard to tell, but, uh, at the same time, it really depends on what kind of magic you're dealing with. [Since Luceti magic is different from what she knows...]
Yeah? [ Ehh. ] I guess there's different types... But I really want to be able to learn some. Helios said he'll teach me, but we don't know if I'll be able to.
I don't see why the lack of magic in one's world would make it so they couldn't learn how to use someone else's. [She thinks this over for a moment.] Unless the magic has some specific rules about that, but I can't say for certain.
Even so! That doesn't mean you can't branch out and try to learn magic from a bunch of other different worlds.
Hmm... I guess you're right. Yeah. [ Then... ] Do you think I could try learning some of your magic? I only really want to learn how to heal. But it's really important to me.
W-well, uh, I myself don't really know any healing spells, and I'm not a very good teacher...so learning healing magic is something I can't exactly teach without having to learn myself. [Oh archmages.]
But if you really do want to learn the magic from my world, I must warn you, it's very dangerous.
I don't care if it's dangerous. I can learn to control it, right? [ Anyway. ] What I want to learn are spells I can use to help my pokémon. They're the better fighters.
If I knew a spell to make them faster.. Snorlax could be invincible! Venusaur too!
You're looking into support spells then. Alright. But, I must warn you of the dangers of the arcane if you plan on wielding it. They're quite severe Red, and I will not sugar coat them. [The dangers are what usually turns away most people from following the path of a mage, and Karis isn't sure whether or not Red will stick with it.]

You should have a go on a bike if you ever see one here. They're fun. You pedal away and it's great everything looks around you.
Plus it's faster than walking.
